Now we are 30

It has been a while since I last blogged – having a hyper-active, as in a having boundless energy; what it used to mean when I was young, toddler means that I really don’t have much time for the luxuries like blogging, beading, brushing my hair etc. But I felt I should try and at least make some effort on today of all days, not least so I can read back on this post in a few years time and shake my head in amusement.

Today I turn 30 and as if to reinforce the state of middle-age (assuming I live to be 60) home ownership/housewifery I will be spending it trying to reign in a small child while waiting for the DynoRod man to come and sort out the drains; I guess that might tick the Very English box too.

The last few weeks have a been a bit fraught, with Jon away in New York for work and my mum over I realised that even with someone minding Amelia I don’t have the time to maintain let alone stock and online shop, so for the foreseeable future, until Amelia is in some form of education which gets her out of the house, the shops will be closed. I still have 3 Christmas craft fairs along with the one I’m organising to do so that will give me more than enough to do.

Now I’m going to enjoy my last half hour before a certain young lady starts yelling ”Hi” form her cot and have my celebratory Berocca…

Coriandr Express – TomatoTea

Spicy Mustard Wool

Spicy Mustard Wool

If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and you actually have the time to indulge then TomatoTea on Coriandr should be just your cup of tea! ;-) Her selection of british hand spun wools are fantastic and I just love the selection of colours.

If you are strapped for time however, she also sells very dinky key chains and coin purses, great for little gifts for yourself or someone very deserving (that would be you again probably ;-D )

You can find out more about Coriandr Express on the blog: http://coriandrexpress.blogspot.com
