Then and Now (and a video)

For comparison:

Amelia 2 years ago, and today on the train.

We travelled down to London today as I had very unexpectedly won some  tickets for us to visit the Real Food Festival, thanks to being a follower of Nick of MyDaddyCooks on twitter, who was giving a talk on Cooking with Children*. Amelia was very well behaved on the train and tube journeys and seemed to enjoy seeing future bacon butties (a.k.a piglets) a very placid Water Buffalo called Petal and a number of performing sheep. Well, I say performed there was a “show” featuring them at 12, half past 1 and 3opm.  We tasted lots of cheese – Amelia was in her element here, sausages and came away with some lovely chai and a dinky little teapot.

Earlier in the day when we were leaving Biggleswade we noted that there were a lot more people that one might expect wandering about the station, all was revealed when we got on the train and were informed as we were pulling out that any children on board might want to look out the window as a steam train was about to pass. Rather than try to get a rubbish photo, I instead took a video..

*Please note not using children as an ingredient**

** This note mainly for my mother
