Has not been due to baby’s arrival.I’ve in fact getting distracted on Etsy and Flickr forums… In the end on the 31st I managed to not only complete the 6 runners but also make the headdress.Today I’ve been pottering about, on the forums again, taking part in Self Portrait Thursday and am now about to tackle the last runner - honest.

365 Days of Craft

Monday, March 31st, 2008

In the last week or so I’ve been immersing myself somewhat in the world of Etsy/Flickr and have been enjoying myself a great deal. It is proving to be a welcome diversion from the time dialation effects of waiting for a baby to arrive. We are now at 11 days from the estimated due date, but of course being a first baby it could run over and the maximum would be 12-14 days. Add to this mix the fact that I can not get comfortable to sleep more than 2 hours a night and you have a very miffed and moopy person indeed.

Alot of the people I’ve been encountering in the last few days who are UK Etsians are taking part in the 365 days of Craft on Flickr - all at different days - and its a lot of fun to see what people have been up to.

I’ve been doing a massive amount of sewing, knitting, crochet not to mention beading (sorting, buying) in the last few months and typically enough its only now that I think perhaps I could join in!

So for day one… what will I manage to do?

Finish off the 6 table runners with their little bead clusters?

Sort these beads (fun but a bit naughty)

Put the findings on these earrings (and also perhaps list them on Etsy)

I should know by this evening which one or ones it was ;-)
